Creating a beach takes me to the beach. Every time.
My new coast inspired textile art collection is well underway.! Here’s a sneaky peek at what’s in store…
Soft coastal images designed to transport you to our beautiful coastline. Rippling sands, wild grass, rolling oceans, picnics and swimming. So much more. I’m aiming to capture that wonderful feeling of escape I always experience when my feet touch the sand. Living in South Devon gives me access to so many beautiful beaches, coves and estuaries and I never tire of exploring. I have inspiration on my doorstep and feel incredibly blessed.
I’ll be fully revealing this new collection at my next Open Studio Weekend on 4th and 5th March - at Edge West Studio in Yealmpton. I will be revealing snippets as time goes on and I will be putting some of the petite originals on my website for sale. It would be quite mean to make you wait too long!!! For lovers of my beach hut pieces - they will return!!
I’m so excited about this project! I will never tire of seascapes. I am at my studio most days at the moment so if you call in you may catch me working on one! You don’t get a better sneaky preview than that! Please do get in touch first to make sure I am definitely there! I may well be out getting frames sorted, walking the dog or even skiving at the beach!!
