Autumn Has Arrived…

Autumn has arrived in the studio!!! A new season is always a good excuse to have a reshuffle in the gallery as well as showcase some new work, of course!

Maple leaves and autumnal flora complementing seasonal textile art by me and beautiful paintings by my gallery partner, landscape artist Shirley Kirkcaldy. It’s shrieking autumn and we love it. A beautiful warm palette working beautifully to reflect this stunning season. Not only is Edge West a wonderful space for enjoying and viewing the artwork, it’s also a pretty special place to actually create art too. The countryside views are an extension of the artwork, allowing me to connect with and be inspired by natural surroundings, albeit through windows!

Warm golden hues adorning the walls giving the space such a warm seasonal feel. Landscapes, seascapes, florals and quirky drinks pieces. Originals and limited editions. Work in progress too!! yes! I’m working on a couple of abstract pieces at the moment so do excuse the creative mess!!! Shirley also has a couple of a paintings on the go so watch out for wet paint too!! ha ha! Dont worry - they are safely sitting on easels!!
