Merry Christmas!!!

Seasons greetings to you all!! I would like to wish you all a happy, safe and peaceful time with your loved ones.

Thank you all so much for following and supporting my work, visiting my studio and of course, the sales. It really does mean the world to me, especially during a particularly difficult year. Your support keeps me committed and motivated to keep creating and growing. Thank you all XX

A special highlight this year has been supporting three wonderful charities. I am pictured here with committee members from the Dementia Friendly Parishes Around The Yealm, one of those charities I’m proud to support. Shirley Kirkcaldy and myself organised a raffle draw at Edge West, which raised £480. The other two charities I have supported is the RNLI and LOROS Hospice in Leicester. It really does feel good to give these charities a much needed boost to their funds and help with the vital work they do, often voluntarily.

Altogether, a whopping £4000 (and still counting) has been raised this year and this is down to your kindness and generosity so THANK YOU!!!

Well the studio is now closed for Christmas. In fact, I’m planning to hibernate for January and February to simply create. I am so excited! I have a new coastal collection in mind and after months of gathering inspiration, I can’t wait to get my teeth stuck into it! Sketching and photographing when the sun comes our (or snow) when the mood takes me is something I’ve rarely been able to do for a while.

I am always happy to meet at the studio by appointment, of course. Just drop me a line if you’d like to visit :)

Going forward into 2022, the grand plan is to open the first weekend of every month and show new work (including a late Fizz Friday. I’ll be in touch with more details closer to the time. The other big event to look forward to is a STUDIO SALE at the beginning of February. I’m clearing out lots of artist proofs, older pieces, previously unseen work and one off pieces.

In the meantime… enjoy Christmas. Wishing you a bright and happy 2022. Hope to see many of you very soon!!

Jackie xx
