A Trip To Greece….

Well, the next best thing perhaps! This piece of textile artwork celebrates the beauty of the Greek Islands. Corfu is a favourite of mine and it was this very island that inspired this piece. The beautiful olive groves, the glorious abundance of colourful flowers, the terracotta capped tavernas and of course the shimmering Mediterranean. The list could go on but what I most wished to capture in this artwork was the tranquil ambience and warmth of this island. This one really did turn out just as I hoped it would.

This original is now on display at Edge West Studio, my new creative home. Like all of my pieces, I know it is destined to live somewhere - I just don’t know where or with whom, just yet! I have published prints of this one too and they have come out perfectly, I’m delighted to say.
