Oldies But Goodies…

I really do forget how many pieces of art I’ve created over the last decade! People often get in touch asking if a certain piece is still available, often not knowing it’s name and of course I’m always delighted but struggle to often find the said piece. Therefore! I thought it high time I created an archive of my older works for people to browse through - in fact many of the pieces may be old to me but completely new to many of you.

It’s actually been quite enjoyable collating the older works - looking at my creative journey from the beginning and how Ive changed course, colour palettes, etc. I obviously haven’t included everything but the ones I have included I have made sure there are prints left in the edition to purchase. Showing you sold out works would be a tease!

Two long forgotten seascapes here… “Moored At Mousehole’ and ‘St Michaels Mount Flowers’

And from my very bold colour phase!! ‘Paradise’

This one is from the early early days and as you can see, my colour palette was definitely softer! This is ‘London’

I’ve got quite a few on but there are more to go. I’ve decided to take a break while I actually get on with creating some new ones!! If you’d like to browse the archive, here’s the link https://www.jackiegaletextileart.com/shop/prints/archive

Would I do many of them differently if I were to go back now? Most definitely yes but of course this is my journey and each piece has brought me to where I am today.. Each piece has taught me something new and despite my critical eye, I am proud of my collection to date.
